When they are presented with a list of chores, no one wants to help Professor Snape with brewing. Hermione draws the short straw and ends up being Snape's lab assistant. The collaboration of the two of them sets unexpected events into motion that will eventually change the wizarding world.
Hermione's POV.
The story focuses on the slowly growing relationship between Severus Snape and Hermione Granger, and follows them to her last year at Hogwarts. It is mixed with the adventure of horcrux hunting. While the relationship blossoms while they are still a student and teacher, Hermione is of age by the time anything happens between them (actually 19 because of the time she aged using a time turner).
