A bit of an unusual bookmark that exist solely because of nostalgia😌
Destiny was literally the first game I've played on console cuz I was too young for Titan Fall 1 & 2. (I think it was a year or two after all three game's releases.)
My mistake was going to the store in person (w an adult) instead of just asking my sister to buy it for me (it was a present).
The longest time I've ever spent playing a game ever (even now), until I had to stop due to RL problems.
By the time I could play again, things were a lot different than I remembered, and I wasn't used to change back then lol
So now, I can only fondly recall "the old times"... which was literally six years ago (of course. That cursed year-)Wow, what a yap sesh. All to say, I enjoyed this and the great amount of nostalgia it's given me lol (Yes, I read the whole thing. It doesn't change anything lmao)

“Questioned?” Wei Ying echoed. His mind raced, sifting through the previous day. Punishments—yes. Lan Wangji standing over him like a silent judge. Copying rules until his wrist ached. Kneeling until his legs went numb. Nothing new, nothing unusual, nothing that should end with… this.
He frowned. “Did I break a new rule I haven’t heard of yet?”

He saved the two-faced Crown Prince Alberu Crossman from the brink of death. His mercy even extended beyond ally territory, ignoring the boundaries of war in favor of healing a white-masked enemy’s grievous wounds.
Each of his actions even quietly served to mend the heart of a formerly misunderstood man.
He sacrificed himself for them, but despite all of the pain he endured, his only response to being asked to stop hurting himself was:
“Shut up, I’m not in pain!”

Dooooooope. Ah, honestly, misunderstandings that help more than cause drama are my favorite types of misunderstandings!
It was so weird reading Cale fawning over Alberu lmao and then it evened out in the later chapters. I KNOW, I KNOW! FANfiction and AUs! I should be ready for these types of things! But I've read so much of Cale being a lil shitter to the prince that it stuck lmao
For the not-chapter addressing the possible AI made inspired ff; that is rough.
Be like the rest of us and make your cringy self-insert fanfics first to get it out of your system as a first time writer lmaoGenuinely though, anyone who judges someone for their first fanfic (that they ACTUALLY wrote, not asked AI to write) is as shit as the people who judge artists who bother to actually practice drawing and post the beginning of their journey.
This author is right. Nothings better than seeing inspo'd works of your fanfics. Plus, the fact that it's 2026 so most tropes are already overused and the first owners could be dated back to BC years lmao we just wanna see more of a certain trope!!
