Summary
Vokara Che is a no-nonsense, hard-working, high-achieving, ultra-competent Master Healer, and she spends all day, every day listening to the Force.
And one day the Force tells her to scream at Master Yoda and slam a door in his face.
So she does.
And then she consults with an expert, records a holo message, writes a letter, and sends it to a Mandalorian mercenary company, because that is what the Force told her to do. And she really doesn't give a flying kriff what the High Council has to say about that, because this is about patient care, dammit.
Vokara gains two patients at peace, a priceless necklace, a humorous penpal, and a legacy that will change the galaxy forever.

Summary
Cody gets to know his General, his daemon is obsessed with romantic holos, and he doesn't know how to stop remembering things he'd rather forget.
His General has a bird daemon he calls Peazan who hops about the command centre on the Negotiator, flashing her pink and jade neck feathers. Cody knows, though he’s now used to it, that the rest of the galaxy doesn’t allow the touching of others’ daemons, but sometimes it’s very hard not to want to hold out a finger and scratch behind her skull.
Kittila stays curled up below his breastplate when they’re outside his quarters, carefully hidden from the rest of the world.
