Summary
Ponyboy Curtis didn’t do drugs– or at least, he hadn’t before. Or maybe he still hadn’t, and all the fuzziness and blankness and distance between himself and the rest of the world was something else. Something… not drugs.
'Right,' Pony thought, his hand gripping a railing on a staircase he didn’t recognize, in a house he had never stepped foot in, 'but this is probably drugs.'
-
Months after the almost-murder of Bob Sheldon, Ponyboy has mostly gotten back to normal. Johnny is fine, he's fine, the not sleeping is fine, the fear of cold water is fine: he just has to convince everyone else of these facts, too.

Summary
27M seeking The Perfect Man: must be passionate, rich, attractive, charismatic, honest, and ready to love.
Jonathan Sims, Avatar of the Web, is the perfect man. He likes Martin, and Martin likes him back. He probably doesn't even have egg sacs. What's the problem?
Well, there's Jon's vain and ditzy personality. There's his overprotective family and meddling sister. And there's the small matter of a two way bet between them: that Jon can't make a man into a monster, and that Martin can't make a monster into a man, in ten days.
There's no way this can go wrong. Maybe there's no way this can go right. And if Jonathan Sims knows, why isn't he telling?

Summary
Most people who were unlucky enough to meet Jonathan Sims assumed he had no friends. This was true, up to a point two months after Jon became a researcher at the Magnus Institute: afterwards Jon had no friends, except for Sasha James.
In which Timothy Stoker is attributable to a fake dating scheme, Gerry Keay is attributable to witchcraft, Martin Blackwood is attributable to an ill-advised crush, and Daisy Tonner is attributable to soulmates.
And in which Sasha James is attributable to arson.

Michael shuddered, wrapping his bomber jacket tighter around himself and chewing his gum harder to disguise the shivers.
Forty dollars was worth it, right?
