Summary
Grian has everything under control. No matter how sweetly the Entity whispers; no matter the promises it makes. No matter the dreams that plague him, of lives he never lived and friends who never died. Friends killed at his own hands.
Friends the Entity swears he can have back. And if the Entity wants him to investigate the rift to achieve this end, well, he was going to do that anyway, right? He’s still in complete control. Really.
He reaches into the Rift. He brings his friends home, red-eyed and strange. These versions of them are…perhaps a bit more bloodthirsty than their counterparts, but they’re alive, and that’s what matters. That’s more than worth the consequences of Grian having his wish granted. Like feeling that he is not quite himself anymore, or the inescapable sense of Knowing that crowds his skull, or the even stranger sense that the worst is yet to come.
The Entity wants more. (The Entity wants Grian.) And Grian, with the memories of lives he’s never lived crawling under his skin, wants more too.
In the end, buttons must be pressed. Doors must be opened. Even if some doors were closed for a reason, and better left shut.

So instead he says, still a little bit weakly, “Do you remember what Gem said about— weather anomalies?” and Mumbo blinks at him blankly and he goes on, “In her lab, you know, about the hole,” and all of the color drains from Mumbo’s face.
He says, “Grian, mate.”
Grian says, “Mumbo.”
Mumbo says, “Grian, are we breaking the entire Hermitcraft server?”
“Well, I don’t think we are,” Grian says, because if the server’s breaking down, it's not the two of them technically responsible, or at least not directly— if the server's breaking down, it’s Boatem Hole 2: Less Boatem, More Hole that’s doing it.

Summary
Mumbo's gone missing, and Grian and Scar go in search of him -- first with annoyance, and then with increasing worry as it becomes clear that Mumbo hasn't just forgotten about their hangout plans... something has gone wrong. Meanwhile, high above HC-S9, something awakens in the digital mind of the Hermitheus... and it isn't pleased with the world it discovers.
AKA: the fic where vex!Scar and watcher!Grian go after an evil Grumbot who's kidnapped Mumbo Jumbo.

Summary
It's been twenty years since the Bad Boys - a superhero team of three children - broke up. More accurately, it's been twenty years since Parrot, the former leader of the Bad Boys, announced his departure, and he hasn't been seen since.
Grian's perfectly happy without dwelling on his past. As it turns out, though, his past isn't very happy with him. With old villains coming out of the woodwork, Grian has to reach back out to two old friends he never wanted to see again - his Bad Boys. After all, the fate of innocents depends on it.
