It was getting out of hand.
That was an understatement.
Kristen didn't have as much control over this land as she should have. Yes, she was the Goddess of Death, but XD wasn't even a real God.
She wasn't able to do her job here. Limbo wasn't supposed to be permanent.
Dream and XD made one mistake. They messed with her family. So, she did the most logical thing she could do in that situation. She took her family, and their close friends, and sent them to another dimension (and not the Nether or End kind).
This story follows what happens after. How our characters from the DreamSMP meet some bats. And how everyone comes out of it better in the end.

Summary
Around two worlds, the servers glitched. Then it went back to seemingly normal. But unbeknownst to most, two players found themselves in a server not where they came from.
Grian found himself stuck in a world full of torment and pain, one locked away leaving no one to enter and no one to leave.
And Tommy found himself in a world where he could truly live, where he could die without the worry it would be another canonical life taken away from the gods, a world where he could be himself.
Now the hermits are stuck trying to find their missing friend and also help out a traumatized teenager in the process.

Grian didn't like falling asleep. It always left room for his brain to mock him with thoughts he didn't want to think about. It left room for his heart to feel worse then broken and Grian didn't want to go through that.
So he doesn't sleep.
But that gets him in even more trouble then he could imagine.
