A sequel to Trust in Strange Places, following the events of Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. Tisha finds herself captive to Jon Irenicus, and must not only escape, but hunt him down and kill him once and for all. She grapples with the intensifying dark urges of the Bhaalspawn essence in her blood, her burning desire for vengeance against all who oppose her, and an unexpected return of someone she never thought she'd see again.
There will be a lot more romance in this sequel than the first! Dorn will realize he has *gasp!* emotions, and he finally works up the courage to put his heart on the line. Probably not the smartest thing to do, considering the elf he's falling for is seemingly moving on with someone else, and slowly devolving into a rabid spawn of Bhaal. But he's never been the brightest bulb in the box.

Summary
V's slowly losing her mind, both literally and metaphorically. Mostly literally though.
Johnny's making himself at home in her synapses as his program overwrites them all, slowly but surely. V's tragic fall from grace after Konpeki Plaza is nothing but a desperate struggle to grasp anything. Anything that makes her feel something inside that numbed heart of hers, anything that distracts herself from her own doom.
She lies. She manipulates. She steals. She hurts. She kills.
Those she can just barely call her friends do not and will never know who she truly is inside; someone who hates the world and herself, and someone who gets a little too addicted to killing people sometimes.
So it was only a matter of time 'till she'd find herself in a place like Dogtown, a post-apocalyptic pocket of the already dystopian Night City, and a district she strangely feels... at home in. A place where there's no shortage of opportunities to do a little target practice on chooms that can actually put up a bit of a fight. What she didn't anticipate was being paired up with Solomon Reed, the one man that could level her with his eyes, could see her for everything that she is, and that terrified her.
