Summary
They arrives as refugees, the aliens. Dying and lonely, fragile on their own. Seonghwa was two, the day their Eomma entered Earth orbit to come find them, and he’s wanted to go up to visit since before he understood what space was.
Hongjoong might just give him that chance, assuming Seonghwa can keep him alive... but he's getting pretty good at that part.

The twelve hours that follow the crash are quite possibly the most exhausting experience Seonghwa has ever been through without actually having bled himself.
It starts somewhat optimistically with Mingi waking up in the ambulance and trying to sit up.
"Yah, I— Wha's the—" Mingi barks, lifting his head despite the neck brace and pulling his wrists out from under the straps across his hips. He flings his oxygen mask off his face in confused irritation before any of them can actually react; it almost hits the paramedic.
"Hi, hello," Seonghwa says, lurching into his eye line and grabbing his hand. "We're on the way to the hospital now, okay? Are you alright, how's your head?" -

And he does. It might not be the most complex nest he’s ever seen but every part of it contains a scent of some of the people he’s come to love – the ones his alpha is starting to see as pack even as he tries to tamp down his expectations. Some groups do become packs, but most eventually split off into a mated pair here or there or form small units. His alpha wants all eight of them to be one, though, despite how unlikely it is to happen. But that’s a problem for another day. Today, he gets to just enjoy seeing the first nest Mingi has built in the dorm.

Mingi rubs his fingertips against the bare skin of his belly, right over the waistband of his sweats. His body is aching, his biology absolutely bursting to provide him with the tools to calm the pack down, to keep them warm, fucked and fed. The lactation thing is new, usually the last thing to settle in an experienced Beta, and, fuck, Mingi doesn’t feel like an experienced Beta even if his body seems to think that he is. So he’s unused to it, unused to the feeling, and if he could talk to his body he would ask it to calm down. Yunho doesn’t want the milk anyway, having shied away every time any of the others (usually Wooyoung, or Seonghwa) hike Mingi’s shirt up to take a nipple into their mouth.
With a sigh, Mingi settles a foot on the duvet to hike himself further up against Yunho’s bedframe. When he’s done, he stretches up, cracks his neck, whines when the swell of his tits reminds him of its existence. He rubs a hand over his left tit, grimacing in pain as the swollen flesh dips underneath his touch.
or: mingi is not a very good beta but he's positively overflowing with milk after they start discussing the dreaded renewal of their contracts. yunho decides to help out.
