The Codfather’s loose shirt is gone now, and while Scott certainly hadn’t expected that level of muscle definition, that isn’t what he’s focused on. Jimmy’s torso is littered with scars. They’re all over, some large and others tiny, some an aged white and others a shiny red. He gapes at them, confused—what had happened? Is the sea really that dangerous? He knows Jimmy’s clumsy, does it justify this?
“What happened to you?” he blurts out, and Jimmy turns to him, face a picture of confusion, before his eyes follow Scott’s gaze. Comprehension dawns and his face closes off.
“You know how it is,” he says coolly, and Scott is pretty sure he does not, in fact, know how it is.

The man stares at his empty hand, then up at the person standing a few feet away.
Owen holds his axe loosely, but Louis knows how to read every movement, every twitch, every stillness of his body. If Sausage, or Martyn or Réy or anyone else, takes even a single wrong step, he’ll be on the ground within a moment, bleeding out from the gaping wound where his jaw used to be.
Owen wouldn’t even have to use his axe for it. He would rip out Sausage’s throat with his teeth if he needed to, to hell with whatever consequences would await him.

Summary
The night ended with Impulse drenched in vodka and cranberry juice, and Scott in a cab back home. It ended in an ambulance and later a trauma bay and operating room. Two nights later, it became a doctor with sad eyes and a somber voice and the promise that Scott would never dance again.
OR
Scott suffers a career ending injury, but Impulse wants to dance with him one last time.

Eddie had only really seen him in the halls, surrounded by people, the center of attention while also simultaneously being lost in the sea of identical jocks yelling about who knows what and jumping up and down instead of walking.
Seeing him drunk made Eddie very nervous. Was he a violent drunk? ‘Cuz that could be really bad for the situation he was currently in.
“Whossat?” Steve asked, pointing to Eddie, still being slightly suffocated by Tommy’s arms pressing down on his chest.

Summary
Zuko encounters the destruction his nation has caused head-on, causing him to abandon his mission to capture the Avatar early. To uplift him, he learns the ways of the original firebending masters, becomes a humble tea server, and lives neutrally on Kyoshi Island.
All under the name Lee.
When the Avatar comes back from seemingly nowhere, Zuko must realize that hiding from his destiny was never going to stop him from finding his full potential.
