Summary
After the Extermination crashes into Hell six months early and Adam cuts down that Old-Timey Prick, Vox wakes up to find himself on Earth of all places. Or, someplace like Earth because it sure as Hell isn’t Pentagram City and it sure as hell isn’t the twenty-first century. To make matters worse, Charlie Morningstar off all people is stuck right here with him. Well, maybe that’s not the worst thing in the world, the Princess must be a gullible idiot to think sinners can be redeemed. So, all Vox has to do is play his cards right and she’ll be eating out of his hand in no time.
The problem is, Vox’s getting a weird feeling from the local newsboy that’s showing them around the town. The kid’s got a lot of spunk; Vox’ll give him that. But, it’s almost like he’s met the teen before…- Language:

Kid alastor just saved vox after he collapsed in the street from using to much hypnotism powers to get free shit. He eats a bunch of electricity and al wants to talk
Al revels that he knew vox was lying about them being secret friends all along, and they agree to be honest/be friends with each other and vox tells Al stuff about what he does in hell in the future while they walk home. Vox has to put an eye patch over his mind control eye and al bandages his bloodshot eye (caused by Vox's earlier attempt at mind control during his freakout)
Charlie realises that she must have blocked her memories of Al after the S1 fight due to her favour, and she can talk to birds. -

Summary
Vincent has lost everything, his fame, his accomplishments, his entire life. Loss can drive a man to become something he'd never thought he'd be, like hopelessly in love with the man who saved his afterlife.
Alastor has become everything to him, his rock, his mentor, his best friend, and his one true love. Of course, Alastor doesn't know that, Vox is hesitant to admit it to even himself. But as the years pass, Vox realizes that of all the spoils Hell has to offer, he'll always choose Alastor.

The 1950s are a dull decade for Alastor, until a TV-headed stranger falls at his feet. Curiosity can drive a man to do things he'd never thought he'd do, like drag a wounded man home and nurse him back to health.
Vox becomes more than just an amusement to Alastor, their shared experiences and love for entertainment bonds them closer than he ever would have expected. Closer than he's comfortable with.
