Angel stops dead in his tracks for a minute, staring at the man with fascination. “You’re a long way from Cannibal Town, aren’tcha, Smiles?”
Red suit spun his staff in a circle, transforming from the epitome of creepy to a jovial caricature in no time. What the fuck was this guy’s deal? “Hmm, Cannibal Town is oh-so sweet, but Pentagram City has so many delectable treats to offer,” red eyes narrow in on Angel’s mismatched ones. “Wouldn’t you agree?”
Angel feels himself breathe steady again. Sweet talk he can do. Easy. “Well, if it’s a sweet treat ya lookin’ for, I bet I can be of assistance to ya, Smiles.” Adding a flirty smile for good measure. The other’s eyes light up with something unreadable. Angel stills for a second, feeling like he’d somehow fucked up on the first line.-Or-
Valentino had been Angel Dust's everything. His lover, his abuser, after a couple years love begins to feel more and more like a contractual obligation and hope seemed far out of reach. Things seem to get a little bit brighter when a chance encounter with a deer sinner leaves him with feelings he hadn’t had for years. Angel just hopes he doesn’t drag Alastor into the web he’s woven for himself.
