Silence drowns the room as their weary eyes blink at Duke, processing what he had just said.
Then it clicks
“R-repeat that?” Tim stares intensely at Duke
“Um, the ghosts are back? That's what these are.” Duke nervously replies confused
Tim opens and closes his mouth, struggling immensely to find any words to say.

It's hard to speak sometimes.
But sometimes our emotions can be conveyed by the simplest of things.
A flower gifted to you can hold the most profound meaning no words can ever express.
And sometimes, those flowers can convey emotions beyond the grave, for both the living and the dead.
Sometimes we just have to hand over the words we long to express.

This is my undertake of the Kimetsu no Yaiba/Demon Slayer story that centers around the story telling of family. This is a story in which I gather small groups of our favorite Pillars and Demon Slayers into a journey of Found Family and have a happy ending as they all should. That does not mean their won't be some deaths or the more serious injury's that some characters have, it is, however, different compared to the original with my own twist.

Summary
“Did you know that the skies are fake?”
As a nine year-old former Khaenri’an prince, Kaeya knows many things they really shouldn’t. About Gnoses, for example. Their future adoptive family, for another. About the curse that has befallen their people, the secrets of several archons, the birds and the bees, the future of Teyvat as a whole... all thanks to their memories of a past life where they were a hot mess of a college student who had no idea what they were doing and played a certain popular gacha game.
Kaeya still has no idea what they are doing, and this time lives are riding on their decisions. As things stand, their adoptive father is doomed to die on their brother’s eighteenth birthday. So they have to figure out how to prevent a premeditated murder via Fatui Harbinger within eight years, while also hiding nearly every core facet of themself for their entire childhood - because Kaeya is so fundamentally terrified of rejection that they cannot reveal their true self to anyone. Not even the people they love and trust most.
Time does not heal all wounds. Not without proper treatment - and Kaeya, who never lets anyone know them in their entirety, has left theirs to fester.

The other solider echoed the same sentiment, although he turned then so that his eyes met Lu Ten’s as he said it, “May his reign finally bring an end to this accursed war, and our nation can finally live in peace.”After surviving what should have been his death by falling into the Spirit Library—and seven years into the future—Lu Ten meets children heading straight toward what he believes is an active war zone.
Changed by the siege and the words of his dying soldiers, he is determined to end the war they died for.
