Among the nobility, arranged marriages are the fastest way to ensure peace between two hostile kingdoms. Muscovite and Britannia, the two biggest kingdoms in Eurasia, are dancing on the fine line between peace and war. So when Tsar Soviet of Muscovite proposed a marriage between his eldest son, Russia, and Britannia’s only princess, Confederate, it was like he handed Britannia Atlantis on a silver platter. Why, in the name of all that was holy, did Britain not accept?
In any case, the prosperity of Britannia was Prince America’s sole livelihood. He would do anything to make sure that, even if the marriage doesn’t work out, Britannia and Muscovite will have peace.
He thought that seducing Russia, the tsesarevich of Muscovite and his sister’s maybe-betrothed would be the key to controlling the future of Britannia-Muscovite relations and thus ensuring peace. Maybe that would have worked if Russia was the only one who got tangled in America's traps. But when the puppet master ends up ensnared in his own strings, the carefully choreographed show completely spirals, becoming absolutely impossible to control.

In an attempt to make Frankenstein feel better, Walton allows him to regale a light story from his and his companions’ youth. However, this particular memory possesses the adverse effect of sending an already unstable Frankenstein spiraling into grief, lamenting the angels he drowned.

“Yup,” Shane says. The cop starts to lead him to the car. He doesn’t bother to put up a fight. Just turns to J.J. and says in French, “I’ve been under the security camera since I called Hayden. It should have picked everything up.”
“Self-defense, then, and you can prove it. Yes?”
If the cop hadn’t closed the door then, Shane might even have responded: and I don’t have a scratch on me.
Or: After the fanmail video, but before Shane transfers to Ottawa, a group of guys sees Shane walking alone and decides to do something about it. It doesn’t go particularly well for them.
