Summary
Tommo went into work these days more often than not feeling as if he had taken a load of drugs or should at the least be in the loony bin, not helped by the fact that the police force was, apparently, made up of vampires. Of all the professions, eh? If Tommo had to stick a bet on it, it’d have been politics, not policing. Oh, and did he forget to mention that the chief head-fucking-honcho of the vampires was apparently his partner. Yeah.
A month has passed, and Varney needs to feed.

“Cats are better than dogs,” House shrugged. He puffed out a slow curve of smoke, stepped backwards to tap the cigarette he was smoking into the ashtray on the table and then joined Wilson where he was stood frozen looking down at his new uniform. “I thought to myself that you’re quite like a cat, Jimmy.” He hummed nonchalantly like they were talking about the weather. “Independent, definitely. Finicky, of course. But then I thought to myself, hm!” He gave Wilson’s shoulder a squeeze, angled himself so he could whisper. “One thing cats are is clean. They piss exactly where they should. But you, James Wilson, you’re anything but. You do anything but.”
After a few too many unfortunate accidents, House decides to train Wilson.

During a late night lab session on the search for a difficult diagnosis, Chase battles with many things. His need for sleep, his need for House's validation, and his stupidly incessant desperate and throbbing need to piss.
“Chase.” He said quietly. For the first time Chase looked at him. “You did a good job.” And it was that look on Chase’s face that clinched it for House, like a supernova had lit up over his face, the stupid, stupid boy.
