Summary

Summary
Atsushi Nakajima and Ichiyou Higuchi don't have a lot in common; one's a Gifted member of the Armed Detective Agency, using his abilities to fight for justice, the other's a mafioso in service of the Port Mafia, using her skills to, well, shoot people. But one thing they do have in common is their mixed feelings regarding one Akutagawa Ryuunosuke.
Normally, their paths would rarely cross, let alone in a place where they can have a casual conversation, but when the rise of a new Gifted organization in the wake of the Guild's defeat leads to a series of meetings between the Mafia and Agency, the unlikely pair find themselves bonding over their love and hatred of a certain trenchcoat-wearing assassin.
NOTE: The author very much does not like anything about Akutagawa aside from the hilarious sound he made that one time Atsushi yeeted him into the sea.

“Uh…”
She couldn’t bring herself to look Alastor in the face as she felt her own swell with heat, so she moved her gaze behind him instead. Big mistake, because he’d apparently been heading towards her dad, probably for another half-hearted argument that she was convinced was just their way of saying hello at this point. Her dad’s already pale skin was practically translucent as he sat frozen, a look crossing between shock-induced insanity, mild betrayal, and wretched indignation at the Radio Demon and his missing ex-wife being even remotely connected in the same sentence.
“Uhhh…” At this point the sound was just sticking to the back of her throat, droning white noise to fill the excruciating silence. She needed to actually say something of substance, but the words wouldn’t come out of her, as if someone was squeezing her windpipe. They were both still staring at her like she’d grown a second head. Fuck.

Summary
It’s hardly any secret that Hell is full of Sinners. Nor is it unexpected that the Radio Demon is not the only serial killer among its population.
But it does create something of a problem when Alastor’s business associates happen to be precisely the type of target for one such infamous Sinner. Alastor isn’t sure what irritates him more: a rival muscling into his territory, or Charlie’s reckless optimism that ruthless murderers can be saved.
At least one will certainly be the second death of him.
