Summary
The wattage of his smile is turned up so high it’s like the sun breaking through heavy cloud, dazzling bright. Sangnuea feels blinded by it. He smiles back at Phatsa, helplessly – then lets out a little oof when he’s immediately tackled onto his back by an armful of affectionate Omega. He laughs as Phatsa wriggles himself into the best position to get his entire face up against Sangnuea’s neck, and Sangnuea knows it’s innocent, that it’s just a comfort thing for Phatsa – that he doesn’t really have much of a pack here in this house full of cold, distant strangers, and his body’s seeking reassurance from the nearest other body it can trust, a safe Omega who smells familiar – but it still feels so shameless somehow. Overly-intimate, taboo.
Phatsa invites Sangnuea over for a sleepover, and takes the opportunity to ask some questions about the changes his body is going through since he realised he was an Omega. Sangnuea gives him a hands-on lesson in Omega biology, with much gentle patience, softness and snuggling.

Summary
He's always been a bit weird about pain, he knows that. Knows that he can take more of it than most other men, that he’s proud of how much of it he can take. He’s not ashamed of that; he uses it, takes advantage of the edge it gives him in a fight.
But this, the way he gets when he does this… it’s something else entirely. It makes him feel smaller. Fragile. Breakable, cracked open. Makes him want to be good, to be held, to be wanted in return.
Zoro likes men, he likes pain, and he likes being marked. He gets his fix of all three from sparring with his oblivious straight crewmate Sanji, and that's enough... until it isn't.

It bothered Sanji. And he hated that it bothered him; resented it for taking up any space at all in his mind. Sanji’s mind was prime real estate, available only to beautiful women and once-in-a-generation secret recipes. It was a travesty to let the moss head’s sex life anywhere near it. And it wasn't that he was homophobic or anything... It was that it was Zoro, bane of his life, the guy who dried his socks on Sanji’s stove top and made a point to take out at least one more opponent than him in every battle, the guy who once tried to cut his own feet off cos his idiot brain was too full of fungus to come up with a better plan to continue the fight he was embroiled in. And if Sanji had ever thought about it before – which he hadn't – he would've thought that Zoro would prefer the more dominant role. The fucking...penetrative role.
Sanji accidentally catches Zoro having rough, anonymous gay sex with a stranger.
It happens again. And again. Soon he can't even look Zoro in the eye any more, and he's suffering so many internal crises he doesn't know how to handle it - and how to not make it Zoro's problem.
