    In the year 1857 AC the journal of the king that solidified the rule of the Baratheon dynasty was found. The surprisingly frank and direct journal entries give Dr. Hedda Barath a rather unique insight in what life was in Westeros 1500 years ago.

     

    With growing unease, I note that the so venerated Maesters at Oldtown have started to adjust the events of my reign in a nearly utopian narration. Gone are the mistakes I made in my reign, gone are the hunger and thirst, the blood and the sickness, only the glory and honorable deaths are left. Nothing of the cravenness in my own ranks, instead the only ones that were craven were my enemies. Men and women that stood opposite me are demonized into fantasy. I cannot abide this farce, I simply cannot. So in these last days before the Stranger takes me too I will attempt to give an account of my life, the events that shaped me and my rule.

    The spirits of the forest titter and jeer. She smiles and says, “Yokai.”

     

    Wherein a semi-si/oc gets reincarnated as some mythical japanese spirit instead of a badass ninja and proceeds to fuck with the plot. Features kidnapping small children, ancient mythology, and being a menace to ninja society.

    Peter’s gotten used to Gotham by now. The thousand little sounds that build up to the cacophony of a city in controlled chaos. But it isn’t home, and it never will be, and the more time passes, the more that thought makes him twitch. He’s frustrated by it, annoyed that he feels like he’s forcing his way through a world that doesn’t belong to him. Worse, the Soul Stone is starting to become more and more of an issue. As if it senses something coming.

    Tony's last words had been 'the threat always comes back.' Thanos won't be thwarted forever, only delayed. Eventually, he's going to hunt down the stray Soul Stone that Peter holds.

    The Bats have a few opinions on that. The Avengers that have fallen into this other world have a few of their own. And there's the problem of Dr. Strange's letter...

    Helena Potter had never been a particularly lucky person - her entire life story was more than enough proof of that. Everything that had ever happened to her had been a sign of truly bad luck, of the forces of the universe pointing their fingers at her just to laugh at her and her misfortune. She had lost her parents, she had lost friends, she had lost her godfather and her surrogate uncle and she had more than once been close to losing her life as well.
    She had lost her life, actually.
    Yet, somehow, this situation was so, so much worse than anything she had ever been forced to face before. Whoever thought it to be a good idea to make her deal with a goblin rebellion when she couldn't even deal with the Gringotts goblins of her own time?!

    Or: a complete retelling of the Hogwarts: Legacy story with a female, time travelling Harry Potter in the role of the Player Character.
