It was suppose to be a short vacation, the Eridians had outfitted the Mary with enough supplies for the three of them - Grace, Rocky and Adrian to fly to the nearest solar system to check out the status of the latest taumoeba probe and check out the weird phenomenon that Erid's senors had noticed. But then Mary got stuck and stopped responding, they were all locked inside the Don't Go Crazy Room and there was some weird movie playing on the screen and nothing was making sense anymore.
The circumstances that the Convict found himself in was uncomfortably familiar and Grace didn't know how to deal with his feelings about it and what was done to him back on Earth - since he'd purposely been refusing too do so for years.
At least he had his best friends with him while he slowly became emotionally attached to a fictional character.But was Simon really fiction? Or was something else at play here?
