Summary
If Essek were to kill Caleb, he would do it with a spell.
None of the intimate agony of feeling the last flutters of his heart with his own skin. He cannot even afford himself the painful honesty of knowing that if he were to do it, it would be impersonal and practiced, something Essek has done to many before and will do to many others. This knowledge is not enough to stop him imagining it.
In the months following the events of Cognouza and the Somnovem, Essek fails to come to terms with the fact that he is a dangerous man.

The player pushed the hair from his forehead, holding his gaze like an anchor, “He’s trying to ease some of that tension you’ve been carrying”“I-” Eddie growled every time Volt found a new spot that made his knees weak, “I don’t need- this.” His nails dug into the players hips.
“I know.” they assured him, pressing a quick kiss to his nose, the sharp inhale Eddie let slip had the player wanting to melt.
“I’m fine-” Eddie spit. Volt had moved to press into his lower back, where just as much, if not more tension had compressed his spine.

Summary
Eddie and Volt had been realized a few months ago, and in that time they were attempting to get The Breaker Box up and running again. It was big—bigger than it used to be—and Eddie and Volt were hellbent on getting it to work.
So Eddie may or may not have pulled a few all-nighters, maybe skipped sleep a few times and maybe overindulged in coffee while working on repairs and getting everything in order. He didn’t mean to overwork himself, truthfully Eddie just missed The Breaker Box.
Sure, he was never a people person and never one for large crowds and socializing, but it was his club. Eddie liked it there. He liked his bar, he liked making drinks, and he loved watching Volt put on a good show.
So sure, Eddie was a bit beat down and tired—old habits die hard and what not—and maybe Volt was a little too wary of Eddie’s habits after the last time he worked himself too hard.
This time, Volt had a plan.

Summary
For as long as he remembered Yusuke Kitagawa was able to see the red string that connected soulmates together. He was fascinated with it and let it inspire his work, until Madarame told him to cut the nonsense out. He stopped painting the red string of fate into his pieces but he never lost the fascination with it, he only lost the desire to have a soulmate seeing how awfully Madarame treated his and how others seemed to mistreat theirs.
Despite his wishes he ends up meeting his soulmate who in turn introduces him to the cognitive world while trying to steal the heart of his corrupt art teacher. But will his cognition towards soulmates change?

Volt shrinks back when Eddie’s jaw ticks and his fists ball up at his side. He thinks, if they were still part of the breaker box, that there might be sparks dripping from his fingertips at the moment. Something in his chest throbs painfully when Eddie takes a deep breath and turns on his heel toward the entryway, grabbing his keys. “I’ll leave then,” he mutters.
And then he’s out the door.
Volt looks back at you, his eyes wide and hands shaky, and sees you huff and cross your arms over your chest. “Typical,” you complain. “Running away without actually solving the problem. That’s just like Eddie.”
“Live wire, we should go after him,” Volt begs. He can’t stand the idea of his two loves fighting. Of the three of you being separated. Of anything coming between you. Of Eddie being gone, for any reason.
You scoff, and it makes everything in Volt seize up. “Eddie can come back and apologize whenever he wants to. You know he will. I’m gonna enjoy my freedom while I have it.”
