Summary
"Ah, he's right! We probably should start at the beginning," The boy agrees, mercifully. He lifts one hand up in a semi-apologetic gesture, not breaking his smile, "My name is Ryoji Mochizuki - or Death! But I prefer Ryoji."
The girl rolls her eyes, "Marie - Izanami. Whatever."
Mochizuki and Marie stare expectantly as Maruki gapes open-mouthed at the two lackadaisical teenagers sitting across from him.
"...Wait, are you two...?" Maruki pauses amidst his own conclusion, hardly believing where his train of thought has led him, "...no."
Takuto Maruki faces divine retribution in the form of two teenagers. Ryoji Mochizuki and Marie have some words to share with the man who tried to rewrite reality.

False Shuffle: To simulate shuffling the deck without actually altering the position of certain cards.
“You see him? You see the boy? That’s my new intern.”
There is a boy. A young boy, with dark hair and pale skin, sitting at the booth with his hands folded neatly in his lap. His eyes scan the oscillating crowd with an air of detachment, like he’s watching something unfold on TV. Like he doesn’t know the danger he’s in.
Goro’s skin prickles. It takes him a moment to register what Shido said.
“Your… new intern?"

Summary
The centerpiece of the room is a massive fortune wheel. It sits on a black pedestal, the colorful segments each marked with different symbols of some kind. Akira moves closer to get a better look at them.
Out from behind the wheel walks a figure.
(There’s one last obstacle in Sae’s Palace, and when a world based on the principle of unwinnable games gets desperate, things get a little rough.)

Summary
"The transfer student’s arrival at Shujin Academy is not the beginning of the strange occurrences. Sounds that seem to be footsteps, uneven and slow, as if their source walks with a limp, forcing creaks from the floorboards. Sounds of the phantom blaze in the woman’s restroom on the second floor, the freak fire that burnt that foreign girl alive. And the rumors, the ghost stories, they are everywhere. Stories of hands touching your shoulder when you’re alone after school. Of weeping in the halls, of banging noises in empty classrooms. Of a headache when you walk through the covered hallway outdoors, or an itchy feeling coming over you when turn on the faucet.
For months before the transfer student arrives, there are those who believe that Shujin Academy is haunted."All his life, the transfer student to Shujin Academy has hidden his ability to commune with restless spirits. When he realizes the true injustice of the world, he resolves to become a vessel for those who cannot avenge themselves. But the emotions of the ghosts whom he seeks to help may consume him, or else change his world forever.
It's the plot of Persona 5, but all the main characters are ghosts, and Joker is a medium.
On hiatus!

Goro Akechi was a man of many faces;
He was the Detective Prince of Tokyo, a young genius after the pursuit of Justice.
He was Black Mask, Shido's attack dog in the other world.
He was a bastard child, so violently obsessed with revenge, he would tear himself apart to see that man suffer.
He is Crow. Unwitting friend and mentor to the Phantom Thieves.
What if the Phantom Thieves met Akechi in the metaverse first? And, what if, they found somebody worth loving beneath the anger and violence he brandished like a sword?

Summary
"Did you know that tomorrow's full moon is a blood moon?" Goro says, apropos of nothing.
"Nope." Ren glances back up at the moon again. Its familiar cratered face gazes back at him patiently, but all of a sudden he feels like he's seeing it in all its loveliness for the first time. "...Are you looking at it right now?"
"Do you want me to be?" Goro shoots back, the playful dip of his voice sending Ren's stomach swooping. Do you want me to be? God, he's such an asshole.
Ren wishes Goro could hear him roll his eyes over the phone. "It's a yes or no question."
He hears rustling, and then footsteps. "Yes, I'm looking at it, too," Goro says softly.

Summary
Why have one champion when you can have them both? A bet between gods that decides humanity's fate. Yaldy knows that the outcome is certain, now with both tricksters under his grasp. Yet Humanity's sponsor is confident. The ‘god’ of the velvet room does not sway. It’s incomprehensible.
Everything is going according to plan.
Isn’t it?
Akechi is certain that these upstart Phantom thieves' rumors are of far greater consequence. He realizes this when the castle that once loomed over Shujin Academy was gone post-Kamoshida’s confession. Gone yet replaced, by something larger. Darker. He is certain it holds the final piece he needs for his plans. All he has to do is recruit one lonely boy over to his side.
One misunderstanding later and Ren finds himself isolated at school. Burdened by the rumors of his own past-and-present actions. He takes the hand of someone unexpected.

Summary
Zack knows this voice. He didn’t hear much of it aside from endless ‘Loveless’ quotes, but he does still remember it pretty well.
“Genesis!” He whirls around.
Genesis’ eyes narrow, chin tilting up.
“That’s no way to refer to a superior.” He frowns, then rolls his eyes and tsk’s. “But, I’ll ignore it, just this once, since Angeal has taken such a liking to you, and you have apparently been wandering about for hours with an unchecked head injury.”
“G-Commander Rhapsodos… um. What are you doing here?” He winces. Genesis scowls.
“Coming to collect a lost puppy, as if that wasn’t obvious. Follow me before Angeal loses his damned mind.”
“I’m not a puppy!” He squeaks. It’s been so long since anyone called him that. Feels like a life-time ago.
“You’re not quite house trained enough to be promoted to dog.” Genesis huffs. He crosses his arms and cocks a hip, giving Zack an expectant look. “Well? I’m not carrying you.”

Summary
"Our plan was to use Sae's palace," Akira says. "We'd pull you into the Metaverse and let you kill her cognition of me in the interrogation room."
Was. It's useless now that Akechi knows, but Akira smiles as he speaks. He's cornered himself, mate in one, but it won't be the first time he's died. At worst he'll restart his probation again, back in April.
At best, they'll move to step two of his real plan, tearing apart Shido's conspiracy one crooked heart at a time until Akechi is as free as his past allows and resoundingly not dead. It'd be easy to resent the world for demanding Akira save it, but at least it's had the decency to let him save his friends along the way. All of them, even the one who only makes the job harder.
