Grian doesn't even look at Scar. “Well, it wasn’t stealing, it was rescuing, and really it was from the Winter King, not her! So, really, I rescued the Winter King’s present!"
(Wherein Scar makes a deal, Grian steals a mortal, and Mumbo's only crime is having a strategically located workshop.)

Summary
When Khaslana had decided to desert the Antimatter Legion and take the young twin Stellaron bearers with him, he had mostly done it out of defiance. This isn’t his first act of rebellion against his “benefactors,” but it certainly is his most egregious one, and he doubts that he’ll be so easily forgiven if and when they manage to drag him back into their fold, as they always have done.
He only hopes he can give Caelus and Stelle a life far, far away from Destruction before that time comes.
Because over the course of their time on the run, he has grown to cherish these two innocent children, who greet a monster like him with the purest of adoration.

In an alternate universe where Amphoreus was always real, the Antimatter Legion invaded and destroyed it, and Khaslana was turned into a Lord Ravager against his will. When he's given the task to nurture Stelle and Caelus, children who bear Stellarons in them, he flees with them instead, taking them under his wing and trying to raise them to the best of his ability.

Dawg look at my deliverer shipping himself with Mydeimos we’re cookedIt’s enough for him to click on his Weaver account in a frenzied panic, scroll to the settings, and click “delete”—mashing all the buttons, captchas, and “deletes” until he finally sees the “This account no longer exists” on his page.
“Oh my god,” he mutters, heart racing. He chucks his teleslate on his bed and flops back down.
(In which Phainon, an idol, attempts to run a fan account shipping himself with his childhood best friend, Mydeimos—another idol.)

Summary
Most days, Phainon is vaguely, tangentially aware he’s a pretty popular guy. It’s kinda hard not to be when you’re saving the world on the regular. Hell, even his superhero friends think he’s a decent guy to be around! Just ask Castorice, who he has frequent movie nights with, or Aglaea, who’s literally his mom-sister-aunt-something, or Anaxa, who… actually, he would probably throttle Phainon if he heard him call him a superhero, so never mind.
All this to say — he’s generally a likeable guy, right? Then why doesn’t Kingslayer — The Dusk, The Vengeance, The Great Champion of Kremnos — like him?
