This is the story of three adults to whom life hasn't always been kind, figuring out how to be kind, open, and sexy with each other.
My partner asked for a story in which Duncan and Jimmy bring a woman home together. I gave it waaay too much thought. It's Willow. I love her. I love her on the show and especially in the books, so I wove in her book life to the degree that it didn't contradict the show, then added a lil extra life.
It's set about a year after the end of season 5 and "A Fixed Point in the World". Our OTP have been happily cohabiting since then.

I read all the beautiful works in the Jimmy/Duncan tag in an embarrassingly short interval. And I thought I was going to write an angsty, windswept slow burn. But I couldn't stop thinking about elizajane's Wandering Home series, and specifically the following:
Duncan lets his eyes reverse the path of Jimmy's gaze, tracing down across Jimmy's kiss-stained lips, past the blooming hickey at the base of his throat, across the nipples that, yeah, Duncan definitely plans on seeing pierced, down the trail of pale blond hair of Jimmy's belly to the V of his open zip, the fullness there beneath thin cotton briefs.
And it turned out nothing else was getting written until Jimmy got his nipple pierced. So that's what this is. Thank you to elizajane and everybody who checks on/reads/writes this tag, it is a perfect gem of a fandom.
*edit* Just realized I also mixed in a reference to a plot point in elfin's excellent "Long, Winding Roads" series. Particularly:
‘I’m fine. I figured it couldn’t hurt more than being stabbed, and I was right.’ That's what happens when you read all the fic at once. They're great stories, ok?

As quarantine continues and time has gotten a bit wibbly-wobbly, Aziraphale and Crowley explore their feminine forms together, eat sweet treats, and say some things they should have said a long time ago.
I guess this is a series now. You could read this as a stand-alone, but it picks up more or less where "In The Republic of Negative Capability" leaves off.
And like In The Republic of Negative Capability, this are two chapters and a multimedia appendix. Unlike that story, both chapters are basically pure smut. Be advised.

Summary
I've found it hard to read things during this pandemic, because it seems like we're in a new world I don't understand and everything feels like a document from an ancient civilization.
Then I found Zwergenmaedchen's tender 'Love in the Time of Corona,' and received Triedunture's quarantine-themed update to their *actually* flammable 'Tempt You Toward the Flood,' and I finally had a creative idea for the first time in a month. This is a gift for them, and also for equestrianstatue, whose story 'Your Mirror' continues to blow my mind, and from which I stole the idea that Aziraphale likes it when Crowley laughs at him.
Herewith, the newly-free beings of love Aziraphale and Crowley navigate a Soho in quarantine, do good, feel weird, reminisce about the great plagues of history, and then have sex that might be slightly over the top.
Be advised, the breaks cleanly in half: chapter 1 is fluff, chapter 2 is smut. There is now a multimedia appendix. Skip what you don't want, skip to what you're into.

Over next door in Good Omens fandom there's a lot of wild, transgressive stuff happening. It's pretty exciting. After reading the dazzling "Feed Me Your Love" by viroma I was kinda like... Huh. Then I went down a rabbit hole that landed me at an old, beautiful HP fic, "Rest Your Head Close to My Heart" by pauraque, and I thought... I want this for Hardy and Miller. So bad. So this is what happened.
Takes place toward the end of Season 2, Episode 5. Canon-compliant up to and until this happens. It's pretty hard to imagine them proceeding as usual after this, but repression is a powerful force, so it's theoretically possible.
Also, I didn't write it to be a prologue toLove is the Law, but there's no real reason it couldn't be, at least in spirit.

Here's my truest, deepest headcanon: in the early nineties, Hardy was a wee lad spending time in Manchester, going to raves, taking ecstasy, listening to amazing music and having mindblowing sex with lovely people. It's not something he talks about, and years of hard knocks have buried those utopian feelings under two metric tonnes of ennui, but...

They've been fooling around on the sly a little already, but this is the story of how Miller and Hardy kick it into high gear, buy sex toys, play with Hardy's butt, and learn how to be happy and free together. They deserve it, friends.
