Summary
Max Verstappen and George Russell are hosting a watch party at their home, bringing their close friends together to cheer on England in the semi-final of the 2026 World Cup. While the entire world is busy hyping up Jude Bellingham, George finds himself completely captivated by someone else on the pitch, his eyes glued to the brilliant and undeniably handsome Declan Rice.
Max can’t help but feel jealous, unable to ignore the blatant attraction written all over George’s face as he watches the footballer on the screen. Making matters hilariously worse, Lando Norris decides to be an absolute menace.

Summary
When the office finds out George Russell is gay, Max Verstappen decides to be "helpful."
He marches into Compliance to deliver a very logical warning: George’s orientation is fine, as long as George doesn't make the mistake of falling for him. After all, Max is a high-demand man, and he doesn't need a crush getting in the way of their battle for the senior promotion.
It was a foolproof plan. Right up until George’s reaction caused a total system failure in Max’s brain, leading to a weekend of obsession, desperate WhatsApp case studies, and the realization that Max's sanity was the first thing to go out the window.Bookmarked by namkoolvr

Bookmarker's Notes
“I processed the data, Russell. All of it,” Max began, his voice quieter and more certain than usual. “And I reached an unavoidable statistical conclusion. I may not be your type—I know you probably prefer historians who live in the past or philosophers who question the meaning of existence—but during this incredibly weird week, I realized something deeply irritating. You, despite being annoying, painfully organized, and obsessed with rules… are definitely my type.”
George went silent for a second, blue eyes locked onto Max’s, shining with an amusement that now felt far warmer than teasing. He leaned forward, shrinking the distance between them until the scent of sandalwood and coffee completely invaded Max’s senses.
“You are genuinely an idiot, Max,” George whispered with a breathy laugh. “Do you know why I never admitted any of this before? Because you walked up to me completely out of nowhere with that RIDICULOUS speech about ‘don’t fall for me, I’m difficult,’ like you were the lead character in some cheap romance movie. I refused to feed your whole ‘lone wolf’ ego. But the truth is, you, with your brutally honest attitude and your obsession with trying to optimize even my wardrobe—you are exactly my type. I was just waiting for you to stop acting unreachable long enough to notice the obvious.”
