Summary
Lightning is normally contained within the barriers of the clouds. However, on occasion, the charges in the clouds react with the electric charges in the ground and a connection forms between them, bridging the gap between the two worlds.
To Beidou, there was nothing further apart than the sky and the sea. As such, the Tianquan and her couldn't be more different. Yet, to an Electro Vision holder who swore by the laws of the ocean, Ningguang, a Geo Vision holder who conquered the sky, was undeniably intriguing.

I was so completely hooked from the first several paragraphs and it simply kept getting better and better. wonderful exploration of Beidou's character, how she sees the world and how she treats ppl around her. it was such a delight to see her and Ningguang's relationship develop, slowly but surely. so many amazing moments of the progression of their relationship, I loved them all. seeing their closeness grow stronger was everything to me and I highly recommend this one for delicious slow burn and moments of feelings realization <3

such a lovely piece and the hcs regarding Beidou are so delightful in all senses. loved seeing Beidou being just more than the rumors spread abt her and Ningguang discovering the truth at her own accord. the sense of wonder, curiosity and interest is what I absolutely adore abt Beiguang. also that last kiss <3 so perfect

Ayaitto chronicles. 鬼に金棒 (= oni ni kanabō) is an idiomatic expression that literally translates to “giving an iron club to an oni”. The meaning is “making a strong person even stronger”, or “solidifying someone’s chances” (kinda like a power-up). I like applying this expression to people in particular: sometimes you can make someone stronger just by staying at their side.

both of these fics are just absolute perfection, I can't stop thinking abt how wonderfully this author portrays both Ayato and Itto, how the narration flows, how the dialogue feels spot on, how we delve into Ayato's character, just I can't get enough. the fascination Ayato would feel for Itto which melts into pure affection, though not exactly expressed in simple words. also it feels so in tune with genshin canon, I could see it all happening so vividly. highly recommended, just perfect portrayal of AyaItto <3

it just feels so perfectly and essentially JeanLisa in the way with flower language, devotion and this charming flirting. loved to see Lisa being flirty and attentive and Jean so smitten and comfortable in the feelings. the grand display in the end was a perfect mix of heartfelt and flirty, just so so amazing

one of my fave works from one of my fave genshin fanfic authors. absolute favorite in the ways how the narration and the story carry themselves in the most beautiful way. the god tier portrayals of both Jean and Lisa, with Jean being dedicated and persistent and Lisa knowing and whimsical in nature. they both just feel so real and so perfectly drawn together in this story. so many gorgeous sentences, the flow of them just amazes me. the scene of Jean's bday celebration is pure magic
