    Summary

One minute he was still riding that high from the morning, and the next his feet felt like they weighed fifty pounds each, the pep in his step completely gone...
...It felt pathetic, just how badly he sought the attending’s praise. He’d spent an embarrassingly long amount of his time in the ED trying to prove himself worthy of Robby’s mentorship, desperate to show that his faith in him wasn’t misplaced. He couldn’t let the chief see him slacking.

Or, Dennis and McKay treat a street patient, and the shift goes drastically downhill from there.

    Summary

Jack and Robby leave the house to run errands, when they are informed through their camera app that their precious pup at home is misbehaving. Misbehaving warrants punishment. And Jack has a punishment in mind.

Little does he know that the punishment is Dennis's worst nightmare.

    Summary

Dennis exhaled slowly, already bracing himself. “I didn’t mean for you to find out like that.”
    Robby’s jaw flexed. “No?”
“It slipped my mind.” It was technically true, but also completely insufficient.
Robby let out a quiet, humorless breath, looking away for a second before dragging a hand down his face. “You got a trauma surgery fellowship offer. In this hospital. And it just slipped your mind?”

Or, Dennis gets an offer for a residency transfer for a prestigious fellowship in trauma surgery.

    Summary

Robby was convinced to stay another few days after his planned departure on July 4th. Not by Dana, not by Jack, and certainly not by Caleb. Not by Noelle either, by any means.

Or, Robby delays the start of his sabbatical, and after some devastating news from Whitaker, he decides to reroute his original plans.

Orrrr, it takes about 3 days for Robby’s sabbatical to fully blow up in his face.
