Summary
A few months after Tommy moves in with the Beloved's, he starts his molt. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't insist that Tommy was allowed to indulge in his instincts. On some level, Tommy understands, he really does. He has wings and a hindbrain and needs to listen to when it's trying to tell him something.
But.
It was during his last molt that his parents had completely flipped. It was then that they started telling Tommy he wasn't worth anything so long as he had wings, it was then that Tommy understood where he lied. Ranboo's parents had been lovely so far, but that doesn't mean that they won't see the same thing his own parents did. Afterall, if even they couldn't love Tommy, how was anyone else supposed to love him.

Summary
Tommy has witnessed the deaths of dozens of people, and he feels responsible for all of them. As a pheonix, he can't die. He just burns and comes back, his body washed of all the scars and bruises that would mark him as a killer. He may not have been the one to fire the arrow or wield the sword, but just by allowing himself to grow close to people he puts them in danger.
With this in mind, he vows to never let anyone near him again.
And then he meets Ranboo
“Come closer,” Tommy invited, seeing the magpie shivering.
When Ranboo shuffled closer, Tommy pulled him in, trying to tuck the magpie tightly against his side without tugging on the restraints around him. Once he was happy with their closeness, Tommy reached for the fire inside of him, ignoring the burn of netherite as it stopped his flame. If Ranboo could be only a little warmer, Tommy would take any pain the universe threw at him.

Summary
Tommy's always been a different to most of his friends and the people around him. Small differences, the way he sat down, the way he had trouble focusing. The disaster that was his backpack and room. He was a whirlwind of unfiltered thoughts and poorly thought out actions.
He was aware of this, but he always thought that that was just the way he was. But, maybe there was more than that, an explanation that made his entire life make sense. Maybe there was a word for it.
Or rather; an acronym. Four little letters.

Summary
After the events of the Olympics, the team decided they need a vacation. So with Tubo and Ranboo in tow, Tommy and the rest of the hockey team arrive in Quebec at a ski resort. It's supposed to be fun, a place to unwind, to enjoy winter without the competition. But for Tommy, it's a time to realize how much better he used to be.
Without realizing it, he relapses, slipping into old, dangerous habits. Pushing his body past its limits, skating from sun-up to sundown, skating on the ice as if it's a prison rather than a stage. His friends, his family, realize, and they know with enougn love, Tommy will understand again. Until then, they'll be there for him, they'll love him like he never let himself love who he was. For now, it's enough, and Tommy couldn't be more grateful for them.

Summary

With the help of Tubbo, Tommy slowly starts to figure out parts of his identity he hadn't previously thought of. They find pronouns that suit them, that make them feel happy in a way they didn't realize they could feel.
Then Tommy has to tackle the problem of coming out. With his best friend behind him and their family ahead of them they take the leap. And what they find is love, more love than they thought possible.
What Tommy finds is that his family cares for him no matter what. He's happy, their loved, he's home

Tommy was born cursed- or at least that's how he sees himself. With his wings he was declared unlovable by his parents and spends years trying to suppress his instincts and trying to be more human for them. When he meets Tubbo though, things change. Tubbo encourages Tommy, tells him to be himself even when he's looked down upon.
But a person can only do so much.
Then Ranboo comes into the picture. It's with his help, him and his beautiful black and white wings that Tommy truly learns to let himself be loved. It's with Ranboo he finds a family, a home, a flock

“I don’t get this, you know.”
Technoblade arched his brow as he wound the boxing wraps around Tommy’s knuckles. The teenager’s hands were textured strangely under Technoblade’s fingers, stretches of burn scars pockmarking the skin. They trembled involuntarily.
Tommy continued: “I’m not supposed to hit people. Sam’s been getting on my ass about it for years. Now all of a sudden, he wants me to? Wants me to get better at it, even?”
Technoblade suppressed his huff of laughter. He didn’t need this kid thinking he found him at all amusing. “That’s not why you’re here.”
“Right,” Tommy drawled, tilting his head up to fix Technoblade with a squint-eyed look. With his blonde curls and blue eyes, the kid looked positively angelic. That illusion was shattered the moment he opened his mouth. “I’m here to learn discipline. Get some aggression out. Become a decent fucking member of society.”
“Can’t help you with that last one,” Technoblade said honestly.
Or, thanks to an act of persuasion by an old friend, Technoblade finds himself teaching a teenager with a troubled past how to box. Together, they carve out a future, though not without a few bloody noses along the way.

Tommy swallows hard. “Please, Mr Watson?”
It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that there is no friend.

Technoblade wasn’t the kind of teacher to get attached to his students. He was too busy for that sort of nonsense. Between teaching five classes a day— both sophomore and junior year English— and dealing with the emotional hell that came with teaching high schoolers, it was all he could do to remember the names of his students as they flooded in and out of his classroom each day.
Tommy and Wilbur were different.
Or, the life of English teacher Technoblade in which Wilbur's a good kid, Tommy needs help, and Technoblade is very tired. Thank God Philza Minecraft is no help at all.
