Summary
It's a slow morning in the bureau, alright, and between idly playing with his pens and sipping at his less-than-mediocre coffee, Choi's gaze inadvertently wanders over to their newest junior.
Kim Soleum looks better than usual, by which Choi means he looks healthier. The dark circles beneath his eyes are mostly gone, his hair a little neater than usual, which gives him a put-together, competent look. Sure, Kim Soleum is competent but with his nerdy glasses—fake, by the way, Choi had checked—and the oversized jumper, he doesn’t always look the part.
It's a nice change.

Summary
The second bullet point on Shen Yuan's agenda for his futile journey to redeem Shen Qingqiu, you ask? It's easy, actually. It's so very easy. All he needs to do is ask Shang Qinghua some questions. There's no need to call it harrassment, really.

Summary
The summer of 1979 brings with it multiple things: foul temperatures, an ardour crashing over the city like a wave, and Regulus' 18th birthday, going up in fire and smoke (only partially courtesy of Evan).
This is not entirely unusual.

Summary
Agent Choi doesn't quite know what to make of the new hire just yet. Kim Soleum is an open book until it comes to his past, he's put-together in life-threatening situations and a complete mess outside of them (though his paperwork is impeccable), and, most of all, he's interesting.
It makes Choi want to dig deeper.
or: Agent Choi, Agent Grapes, and the very normal, not at all unusual, quite regular maintenance of the Phone Booth Disaster that'll surely serve as a bonding experience

Summary
There's no reason why the Elevator Darkness should be haunting Kim Soleum outside of elevators, dropping cryptic messages.
And yet that's exactly what it does.
DANGER, it spells out.
Sure, why not.

named after this peppa pig quote:
"Everything is on a hill around here. My house is on a hill, the supermarket is on a hill, Rebecca Rabbit lives inside a hill, it’s all hills, hills, hills!”
if anyone can come up with a better title for this series, i'm all ears (biblically inaccurate angel)- crack treated seriously

the heart of a lion is such a fragile thing/
gods, hearts, and humanityor, a more prosaic description: a collection of character studies, a (more or less) cohesive exploration of what it means to have a heart and to love.
