Lucifer stood in his workshop, staring at the rubber duck he had just finished crafting. It was a perfect replica of Alastor, complete with a toothy grin and those creepy red eyes. Lucifer couldn't help but feel a sense of hesitancy wash over him as he examined the duck. (‘Why did I even make this monstrosity? What possessed me to create something so…’) He shuddered, unable to find the right words to describe his conflicting emotions.

Sleep had not come easy that night. It didn’t take long before a strange staticky sound began to infiltrate Vaggie’s dreams and wake her up. The noise was coming from the radio on their table.

Beside her, Charlie turned over, half awake. “Hmm?”

Alastor has always been an opportunist. When a good opportunity falls into his lap like a red apple fell onto Sir Isaac Newton's head, he'll take it and use it to his best benefit. But the thing Alastor finds a little bit pathetic about himself is that, unfortunately, he IS also an Altruist. Besides, sometimes replanting that apple, making it grow and thrive, could bring him more benefits than gorging on it the second he gets it.

Charlie finds out that Alastor was hiding an injury after she finds him dying in his hotel room three weeks after the extermination. She asks Lucifer to heal him, and he does...no one, however, expects the aftermath of surviving an angelic wound to be to be returning to the last time you were still pure in life.

“W-welcome back, darli̴ng.” Alastor didn’t look at him; the deer was staring at the floor, hands twisting in the red fabric of his dress. His left wrist was bandaged up, but some blood had seeped through the binding.
Vox hurried inside, taking Alastor’s hand in his own. “Sweetheart, what happened to you!?”
“I- I was making dinner and- and the knife slipped.”
It didn’t look like a just a slip of the knife; the damage was to the wrist, not the fingers. This was not how people usually cut themselves cooking. Vox bit his lip. Had Alastor tried to hurt himself again? Vox had thought his wife was past that now. “... you need to be more careful, precious.”
What starts as a normal evening ends in disaster.

Summary
After the battle between Adam and his forces, Charlie, Alastor and the rest of the hotel patrons are left to rebuild the remnants of a broken building and attempt to heal the perpetually shattered city of Hell. Though all seems hopeless, and the hotel remains emptier than before, they are determined to make Hell better.
The Radio Demon, Alastor, a feared and prominent figure in Hell, finds himself weakened after his fight with Adam. As he works his way through the dullness of restriction, he faces the ghosts of a past he has long been trying to evade.
It just so happens that the very King of Hell himself discovers this on accident, and, with the ability to relate to Alastor's situation, decides to help him, no matter how vehemently the sinner would deny his trauma or his need for help.
As they both help each other heal, in some less conventional ways than others, Alastor finds it in himself to try to be better, just as Charlie had hoped.
But, like any journey to healing, it is a difficult path.

Alastor did not look good. His hair was plastered to his face, wet with sweat, and from what little was visible under the loose collar of his nightshirt, his skin seemed to cling to bones rather than flesh. One night of relatively good sleep had not done much to the dark circles around his eyes, and there were still traces of tears clinging to his hollow cheeks.
Lucifer gently put a hand on Alastor’s brow, trying to feel how bad the fever was-
A clawed hand shot out and locked around his wrist, squeezing it with the intention to break bones, but none of the strength to carry out the threat. Alastor stared up at him, eyes wide with fear ... and then he recognized him, and slumped back onto the pillows.
“... so̴͐rr̴͊y.”
“It’s fine,” Lucifer replied. “You didn’t hurt me.”
Alastor didn’t look relieved about that. “... ć̷̽a̵͌̎n’t e̴̽ven br̴eak bo̴nes anymore,” he mumbled. “Pathetic.”
The wound is closed, and the bleeding has stopped, but that was just one step forward. Healing takes time.

"-I will go and look for him if I damn well please, so get the FUCK out of my way before I get all of hell to re-enact the french revolution-" He looks different. Alastor recognises him anyway. A part of him thinks he always will, no matter what happens to either of them. Against his wishes, his smile softens.
"Vox, old pal! Now, now, where are your manners, my dear? This isn't how you should speak to a lady." Vox is popping and sizzling in front of Vaggie as though he is a few heartbeats away from having a seizure. Vaggie is pointing the spear at his screen while the princess stands at her side, trying to calm both of them down (and failing horribly, ah, what a sight!).
Upon hearing his voice, his old friend throws Vaggie to the side (what a brute) and hurries over to him. His screen glitches out more often than not but Alastor has the honour of watching his eyes widen, his mouth open ever so slightly. Vox is...very blue. And then he is right up in his personal space, snarling and spitting like a vicious animal. All he sees is blue, blue, blue. Alastor smiles indulgently. Some things never change.

Summary
Akos would do just about anything in their power for Alastor, but then he asked them to ‘take his place’ at the Hotel. Just long enough to ‘assure’ the patrons and Charlie that everything was ‘fine’. They didn’t have the heart to tell him that there was more to it than perfectly mimicking the appearance and voice of someone.
On top of that Alastor hadn’t really told them much about his associates at the Hotel, so they were pretty much going in blind.
This had the potential to be a total disaster.

Summary
In hell, your life and death determine what demon you'll be. Some are animal-like in appearance, others have a more eldritch look. Depending on what type of demon you are, different instincts and behaviors will affect you.
Some behaviors are common, like mating seasons and shedding. Others are extremely rare; like mentally regressing to a younger age. Some sinners say it is because of extreme childhood trauma, some think it is a curse to people that have taken a child's life.
Alastor doesn't know why it happens, he just knows that he is a "Little”. And he managed to keep it a secret for 90 or so years.
Until the fight with Adam.OR:
Lucifer accidentally discovers Alastor is a Little after the battle, finding him injured and scared.
He decides he can't just stand by and let the poor kid be on his own, and takes him under all 6 of his wings, wether he likes it or not. -
