Paul Holden is probably the only one that can invite him in. Even if something about him, about all the guys on the team... just doesn't sit right. There's something off about Socs, unless it's just something Darry's been told his whole life.

The Curtis Gang wasn't known for being the tuffest gang in Tulsa, not by far, but people knew they could hold their own in a fight or a rumble. All of them could fight, all of them had a decent head on their shoulders, too. They all knew the score, and they all knew how things weren't going to change.
Even after Windrixville, with Johnny Cade on the near brink of death but still managing to wal– see his way out of that hospital, and Dallas Winston nearly dying himself with a few bullet holes in him, nothing will change in Tulsa. Not outside the Curtis Gang, that is.
A lot of things have changed in the gang, for better and worse, probably all worse.
