Nightshifts are calm and quiet, and that's the way you like it. That is, until Gregory shows up.

"I guess I've found myself searching for a dead man," Jo mumbled between sips.
The bottle held loosely against her fingers as the alcohol within swirled without rhythm. The dim red light of the bar hugged against her thick coat, which for some reason she refused to remove. Atlas has always found this sight of her peculiar - they did never thought they would see Jo in such a low state, seated on the edge of a deserted bar with 2 empty bottles of beer before her. Altas could not find it in them to judge her though. She just went from being one of the brightest and youngest detectives in their precinct, who tackled every single case with grace and ease, to being relocated to the middle of nowhere and assigned a long-dead case.
"What makes you think so?" Atlas questioned, taking a swing of alcohol for themselves.
"Altas, we're following a case about animatronic bears and bunnies in a pizzeria that were allegedly stuffed with the bodies of dead children killed almost a decade ago. Not to mention the sudden appearance of human organs in their sister location. If you ask me, this sounds like a plot for a children's horror show. Sure, many things may be different with our main two families' children growing to be adults. Their relationships are in top shape (at least as much as they can be), they live together safely, and they plan on working together to bring William Afton down for good as one unit.

Sans machine that sat in the garage had been placid for as long as he could remember - never once working even when he so desperately wished it would.
Multiple time-resets later, and everything is still the same. Never changing, except for at the whims of what that kid desires.Except for when a new “anomaly” enters the time line. There is but a glimmer of hope, hope for something new.
For once, the machine works, but not in the way anyone expects. Space starts to get more crowded as new - but not unfamiliar - faces appear more and more in the underground.
Yet no one took into calculation how love would find a way to worm into everyone’s hearts as they all learn to work around the new aspects of their lives.
