“It would be a very good bonding experience for the class to learn more about each other. I think we should all participate!” iida was a little too enthusiastic about all this for everyone sitting at the table.
“Are you going to participate Midoriya? You’re quieter than usual today” of course, leave it to shoto to notice that something was bothering him.
“Umm… I’m not really sure if I should, I mean what would I even do? And standing on a stage Infront of everyone… that’s a little scary…” it was more than scary but izuku really wanted to participate, finally be able to tell his friends and everyone about ‘that’ could be freeing, and if anyone asked anything or reacted badly, he could just cover it up as a song he randomly chose to sing.or
U.A. is hosting a talent show and izuku takes the opportunity to tell his mom that he is in the hero course.

“It’s a false accusation and we all know it Nezu,” Shōta doesn’t bother to acknowledge Nezu’s statement. Instead he just leans forward a bit in his desk chair and does his best not to grind his teeth.
