People moved on from the war. Hermione and Ron were in bliss, their relationship blossoming. Ginny was a leader of the restoration effort for Hogwarts. Luna and Neville were by her side. Molly and the rest of the Weasleys were slowly but surely rebuilding their family.
Cedric was dead. Sirius was dead. Dumbledore was dead. Remus was dead. Tonks was dead. Fred was dead. Professor Snape was dead.
Voldemort was dead.
Harry felt dead too.

Obviously the solution to Harry's depression is to become a father, so that's what he does. Children just keep showing up and he just keeps taking care of them. He's living his best life.
