“Oh, that’s easy.” His hand twisted a knob, and the notes came out sharper. “It is infected—Petrova Line and everything.”
In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Eva Stratt resolves to figure out what is going on.

Summary
Alastor and Lucifer have been rival deities for centuries. One day, Alastor takes one of his pranks too far, leaving Lucifer trapped on earth as a human. His only way home is to cross the celestial gates at the summit of Mount Celestia, a journey made even more difficult by Alastor and his shadow dogging him every step of the way.
Despite their meddling, Lucifer soon realizes that Alastor and his faithful shadow are not the worst part of being lost in the woods.

Glass crunched in his fist, the phone irreparable. God, he was going to fucking murder Lloyd Hansen.
He brought the phone down, staring at it. The screen had faded to darkness.

Summary
More things change than those that stay constant. Change is inevitable and needed to adapt and stabilize, to maintain the balance. It is nearly impossible to stop its twisting and undulating, yet steady, equilibrium. Sometimes it is predictable, other times it is a surprise. It can be both a blessing and curse. For Lucifer, someone who has seen eons pass by, someone who is far older than the matter that makes up the world, constants are rare. They’re valuable. They’re safe. The first time he tried to force change, humans gained free will. The first time he tried to force change, he Fell. Cast away from the only home and family he has ever known.
It makes him wonder why then, of all possible options on the table, he has decided to do a major change in his life and move from the Palace, his only home since the day it was finished, to Charlie’s Hazbin Hotel.
Worse of all, there’s a Radio Demon around to make him lose his mind, or perhaps help him remain sane.

Rocky is so kind and understanding we love him :(
Grace is even more of a coward in this fic but also I understand why he’s so frustrated (there was no real chance they’d even find why Tau Ceti wasn’t dying, it was completely by luck, this was a suicide mission with such a minimal chance of being successful I’d be pissed too) and in the end Rocky is still his reason to be brave, even if he doesn’t remember him fully
Grace feels like he’s dying every time he goes to sleep though :(

It was obviously something not human, something that had the powers to take control over his dreams. What he couldn’t understand was why. Why was this… thing so dead set on helping him? He manipulated Al’s dreams so they show the future of his victims and can better target them, and when Al begins to catch on to these supernatural interferences, Lucifer introduces himself to Alastor in those dreams
However, due to the rules of Heaven, he can’t give his real name. Hence, he goes by Zaqar.
And slowly, they fall in love :)
