“I know. Seriously, what’s that, the hundredth time you’ve told me? I could recite it in my sleep!”

“I’ll jump into the photo, and you’ll be my guide.”

He gave him a half-lidded stare, as if he was getting bored. “Let’s do it already.”

His friend gave an amused scoff.

Dokja gave a cheeky grin in response, holding his hand towards him, palm up.

Joonghyuk did that thing where it was like he was waiting for it to turn at a specific time before continuing an action. He didn’t know where it came from, hadn’t been there when they were kids, but he figured following some sort of invisible schedule seemed to comfort the man.

Dokja glanced at the watch on his friend’s hand, the one reaching out to him. 21:59, a few seconds away from hitting 22:00.

Once their hands were above each other, palms facing, they clapped.

Yuu had memories. They weren’t quite a past life, as much as they sometimes wished it was, but..

The truth was, in the modern world, demons existed. Those demons had existed since the Heian Period. Things that ate humans to survive, and burned in the sun. ..Although that wasn’t quite true, because they’d been born human, but through various reasons, had been turned into a demon. It could be desired, it could be forced.

In the end, it was a mercy to end them, by demon slayers, wielding Nichirin blades.

Yuu was one of them. Having lived among those who saved others thanklessly. They didn’t want child soldiers, but in the end it was often they were the last ones to survive, and would use up the rest of their life for revenge, before they eventually burned out.

They were lucky, that way, because they still had the option to live their life.

But there was only so much they could refrain from taking action. Once you know of the monsters in the dark, there really was no turning back.

It was surprisingly hard to keep a vigilante presence off the radar.
Somehow, it was when Tommy was using his identity that could literally turn invisible, that he’d been almost immediately clocked by the heroes. He’d really only been just starting to have a presence when the heroes cornered him about it. Surprisingly, instead of attempting arrest, they’d recruited him. And who was he to say no to free access to the hero database and nice bathrooms?
One power per secret identity, that was his rule, and he still had a couple more up his sleeve. The heroes could have one. As a treat. He was generous like that. He’d just take more care to keep his other identities off the radar.
Simple.
If only things worked out as planned. Somehow, it hadn’t taken long for his next vigilante persona to be noticed as well, though not by heroes this time.
“I hear you talk to ghosts.” Said a deadpan voice.

Tommy can't help wanting to help, and he keeps getting powers so why not have more than one secret identity, yeah? Hero, vigilante, villain, coffee barista, and maybe one other.
Or I read so, so many vigilante fics that I caved in and stuffed all of my ideas into one fic.

Just as everyone begins to settle down and start discussing options, an unknown being makes it clear that they're all in the theater for a reason. To bring every secret to light, and for the liars to be judged by their peers.
(This takes place after chapter 96 of the manga.)
(I like reaction fics to an unhealthy degree. However, I noticed that the ones for Spy X Family mostly just kinda... treat the secrets of everyone like they're not big deals? Not that it's a bad thing in any way, the levity fits the Spy X Family genre very well. Either way, I like the way that WHDAAA [A Re:Zero fic] handles the reveal of big secrets, and how seriously things are treated. So, I figured I might as well give it a try to do one of these myself.)
