There were men in line – people patiently awaiting to be thrown into the death machine.
Tommy hadn’t been focusing on anything for the past fifteen minutes. He kept glancing over to Toby, picking at his nails and Ranboo in the third line, the tallest and the most casual-looking among the adults. Grayson behind him hasn’t said a word, just kept his head buried in the middle of Tommy’s shoulder blades, maybe trying to find the answer to what exactly they were doing, standing there. Waiting.
People like them weren’t good at waiting at all.

Tommy was a God who made a new life for himself, moving on from his past and finding family in mortals where he thought it impossible. He already has two brothers, certainly he doesn't need anyone else. So why did these three other mortals seem so interested in him and how did he get them to back off?
He might not have been able to keep the fact that he was God from his brothers but he should be able to with the heroes, right? Even if he was going to be spending more time with them - what with MCC and training coming up... - it would be fine! ...Right?

Summary
Tommy didn't think that finding an antique watch made of gold would end up being the root of all of his problems, but it ends up being the case when he's subsequently yanked into an alternate reality where he's dead and several gods attached to their version of him suddenly find themselves with their attention diverted towards him instead.
After accidentally stealing from one of them and befriending a ram hybrid named Tubbo, Tommy quickly realizes that he needs to adapt in this new world before the fate being pushed upon him is forced into reality. But it's fine, he'll find a way to get back home.

Tommy struggled to his feet, hands curling into fists, ready to defend himself. The man stopped speaking, leaving an echoing hum in the air. The breeze stilled.

But looking at his own frozen chest rising and falling in a capsule filled with dense, transparent fluid, Tommy wasn't sure if even that was true anymore. A ship of Theseus with every plank replaced is still a ship, Techno had said. But Tommy? Tommy was just the rot they’d forgotten to clear away.

TLDR; Tommy gets a Rubik's cube on his birthday. It goes as badly as you'd expect.
Every twist of the cube transports him to a new dimension, and Tommy twists every time hoping that the next one would lead him home, if he could even call it that anymore.

Techno looks away first, somewhere just over his shoulder. The far wall has a map pinned across it… topographical, dotted with little red circles that Techno doesn’t recognise. He doesn’t ask.
“Wilbur’s good,” Techno says eventually, voice distant. “I know he’s good.”
“Then you know he’s wasted anywhere else.”
“He’s not ready.”
Dream’s voice stayed flat. “Neither were you.”
Techno wants to argue that. Wants to say something, anything, that’ll cut through the politics and coldness and anger Dream worked into every word. But he can’t.
Because… because maybe Dream has a point.
He got his license at sixteen. Was flying with ranked officers at seventeens. Called a prodigy years before that. No one asked him if he was ready. They just gave him wings and pointed at the sky.
He’s still not sure if he came back down.

OR, Techno is in a perpetual state of being ill but is too goated to be let go from being a fighter pilot, so he teaches young adults how to fly instead. In particular, Private W. Soot, a prodigy who refuses to be anything less than perfect. Techno learns he should've just quit when he had the chance.

Summary
Phil thought moving to SMP City would be a chance to start over.
After leaving Hardcour City under the shadow of a career-ending scandal, the widowed nurse is determined to rebuild his life one exhausting hospital shift at a time. With chronic leg pain, a lonely house full of unpacked boxes, and memories he can't escape, he expects nothing more than work, sleep, and survival.
Then he wanders into High Pixel Pizza.
The restaurant is immaculate. The food is incredible. The prices are suspiciously affordable. And despite the glowing OPEN sign, no one ever seems willing to step inside.
Its surly server Sam seems to wants him gone, a foul-mouthed child insists on interrogating him over stolen slices of his dinner, and the staff react as though having a customer is stranger than having none at all. Yet the more Phil returns, the more he finds himself drawn to the odd little pizzeria and the family that runs it.
As bodies begin appearing near the docks and whispers spread through the city, Phil remains blissfully unaware that the people serving him dinner are hiding secrets far darker than rude customer service. While everyone else sees danger, Phil sees only tired people who deserve kindness.
