Summary
If there was one thing Ilya was proud of during his time as Captain in Boston, it was the community he created. Yes, they were a good team, but under Ilya’s leadership they’d become a decent one too.
He didn’t have time for locker room bullshit. Racism. Homophobia. Hazing. It was immature and unnecessary. The first step in having a successful team, in his eyes, was the safety of “his” players. During his first speech as captain, he made it clear that the nonsense would not be tolerated.
The guys weren’t perfect, but they didn’t ask questions.
Until, of course, Jeremy Stone joined the roster.
Or: Ilya is one homophobic "that's so gay" away from losing his shit (and coming out in the process)

Uh…Rozanov
@Barrett if you’re paying people for being gay where is my money?Or: It's Pride Month, and the gays are posting their Venmos/Cashapps/Zelles in the hopes of straight people pay up for their crimes. Troy Barrett also pays.

Summary
“We chatted on June 22nd, just two days after the Ottawa Centaurs took home their first Stanley Cup in team history. I’m not quite sure how we were able to fit this interview in, but we did. Haas was adamant we conduct this after they finished the playoffs, no matter what that looked like, and I can finally understand why. He may be hungover, and I may be exhausted from editing this in, *checks notes*, two days, but in the spirit of gay audacity, we’re vibing and thriving this Pride Month."

Summary
It was mid-May, the Centaurs had just won the second round of playoffs, and they were gearing up for the Conference Final.
The day after they beat Tampa Bay in a solid 4-0 series, Pride Tape had sent Harris all of the media for the Campaign. The plan was that immediately following practice, they were going to sit the team in front of the screen normally meant for play reviews and show them all of the footage Pride Tape captured of Ilya, Shane, Troy, and eventually, Luca.
And Luca would tell his team, "Hey, guys. By the way, I’m queer too!"
They would cheer, and everyone would have their happily ever after.
A straightforward, foolproof plan.
Or: Luca and Jamie come out to the team!
