Bobby hears Buck's dad make rude comments, and doesn't understand why Buck doesn't defend himself.
Chimney is so confused by what's happening at the cook out. Until he's not. So he makes his apologies, knowing the road to Buck getting better is going to be long. Because Buck wasn't the only one who didn't say anything. None of them had. It was time for that to change.

You ever wonder what conversation and/or situation took place when Bobby and Athena decided to have advanced directives at the hospital? What happened when Bobby told them why he stopped skating? What did the team do when they learned that Bobby was suicidal? Bobby has had someone try to shoot him twice because of a case that Athena was working on. He had already been shot once. What would happen when her fears for his safety become too much? These little conversations that would have added so much to the show, which we never saw, will be the theme of this set of one shots. Of course, they will all be Bathena focused because they are amazing.
