Summary
Tim is good at galas.
No, scratch that—Tim is great at galas. He’s been attending them ever since the age of three, when his parents first stuffed him into his little Gymboree tuxedo and gave him a stern lecture about ‘sitting quietly’ and ‘speaking when spoken to.’ He knows all the rules: what to wear, how to stand, when to smile, what to say, what not to say. He knows how to come across as polite and intelligent and charming, and on absolutely any other day, he would be rocking this.
---
Or, my take on a ‘Tim Joins the Family Early’ AU, told through a series of sleepovers, most of which are unplanned.
Featuring pre-teen Tim, Alive!Jason, and a whole lot of hurt/comfort.

Summary
Once upon a time, Tim Drake was Robin.
And he was 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥.
But he wasn't chosen.
And that's fine, okay? It was a delicate situation, he understood that then and he understands it now. He doesn't hold it against Bruce, or Dick, or anyone after him who benefited from the Batman that he fixed. It's just, he hadn't realized how many things he lost out on while fixing Batman.
The ice cream just seems to be the final straw.

Summary
“Are we gonna do this, like, the Bat way, or the normal person way?”
“You mean are we gonna turn it into a weird joke when we talk about it because none of you are capable of expressing human emotions?”
“I mean exactly that, yes.”
- - -
Tim is injured while fighting Two-Face and, because of circumstances that may or may not involve the kid's lack of spleen and a low stock of Bat-Antibiotics, his siblings are forced to take him to Mount Justice instead of the Batcave for medical care. Which is fine. Really. The only problem is that the Team is unaware that Jason is alive. Also, they're unaware of Damian and Cass's existences, and of the fact that the Robins are all siblings, and of the fact that the Bats aren't actually harboring a dangerous villain in the Red Hood, but rather a dangerous-but-friendly anti-hero in the Red Hood. Big difference.
Fine, so maybe they have some explaining to do. But dammit if they're not gonna do it the Bat way.

Jason Todd was definitely alive. 100% alive. He’s fine. Totally unrelated to this: a man mistook him for a someone named Johnny and shot him with a beam. He’s now experiencing soup time. Whatever that meant. Can someone save him please?

Summary
A science exhibition in Gotham City is a festering breeding ground for either a brand new rogue in the making, or a spot for rogues to hunt down their next henchman. So, naturally, Bruce goes out to scope out all the best talent and snatch them up under the wings of Wayne Enterprises before a rogue can. It also has the additional benefit of grabbing new bright minds that could help make Gotham a better place. So when a bright young woman called Dr. C.W. Kronus offers him a test run on this new 'memory machine', he agrees so that no one else would get hurt if it were to go haywire.
