This morning, they woke up in either A) an abandoned building, B) unfamiliar apartments with unfamiliar school uniforms, C) a plush bedroom nicer than their entire house... or D) the League of Villains' headquarters, because of COURSE Izuku still manages to draw the shortest straw even when others are screwed over too.
UA tries its best to prepare its students for anything, but one topic it never covered: what to do if you wake up in an alternate dimension. Six students suddenly find themselves in an unfamiliar world where the balance between Heroes and Villains is more unstable than ever and they have no idea how they got there or to get home. All they know is that this world is horribly wrong, and they're largely on their own. (Well, except Izuku, but he thinks he'd prefer that.)

Bakugou Katsuki had lost all hope he had in heroes and his heart became bitter at the corrupt ‘hero’ society. He grew up in the streets and became a spiteful vigilante who killed any villains which crossed his path. Not a hero or a villain, just a boy with many enemies and no friends.
But after a close encounter with the heroes in training in a dangerous pursuit and eventual killing of some low-grade villain, he catches the attention of the students in Class 1-A who are determined to find him and who he really was.

Shinsou Hitoshi finds reprieve on roof tops. He doesn't know why, but something about being up so high makes him feel safer, like he's on another plane of reality where only he exists. Like nothing can touch him from below.
He should probably find a different spot to think though. People keep catching him up here and it's starting to get annoying.
Except, maybe it's not. Maybe he's beginning to prefer the company, feeling like part of a whole rather than an isolated figure squinting in the dark and trying to find something he is blind to. Maybe he's beginning to find comfort in companionship.

Something came out of the darkness and John hissed, brandishing his knife threateningly. His tail whipped in his anger and he took a trembling step back as the blur came closer. It was pretty tall and stood on two legs. It looked like a human, but it was far bigger.
It was a Na’vi. The Na’vi was armed to the teeth.
John swallowed dryly, not because of the amount of weapons that the Na’vi had, but because of the white skull that adorned his head. It was a little smaller than his head, still showing his dark black hair that was short on the sides but braided down the middle. Through the holes, John could see deep amber eyes locked onto his.
Or,
John "Soap" MacTavish gets his Avatar in trouble with a Palulukan and has to jump off a waterfall. Soaked to the bone and injured, he meets a Na'vi wearing a skull mask. The only problem is that this particular Na'vi hates Humans and by proxy Avatar. At Hell's Gate, they call him The Ghost.

One raised as nobility who is thrown into the intense game of royalty. Both know the importance of dancing around sensitibilities, but gods... it's never felt more difficult.
For others, like Roach, he just wants freedom. He's not interested in the games one had to play in order to survive at court. He's not interested in status or capital or... anything else. He wants the freedom to self determine. Or at least some fucking privacy.

He had been so stupid.
He had been so unbelievably stupid and blind and now John was going to kill him.
A sound not unlike a sob tore out of his throat as he fumbled for his phone. He nearly dropped it once before his grip was secure enough, and at that point he wasn't even thinking anymore but scrolled through his contacts to call the one person who he hoped wouldn't be mad at him.
The call connected on the third ring, far faster than Simon anticipated and suddenly his stomach clenched with anxiety. Maybe it had been a mistake to make the call.
“Simon? Why are you calling me so late, is everything alright?”
“I–I fucked up, Nik! Can you please come pick me up? I'm not at– at home and dad doesn't know I'm out and something's really wrong!”
OR
It was supposed to be innocent fun, a night out with friends - at least that's what they had told Simon. They had lied.
